EOS Utility is an application that brings together all of the functions required to communicate with the camera.­ Functions for downloading and displaying images,­ remote shooting,­ and camera control of each setting when an EOS DIGITAL camera is connected to a computer have been integrated.­ EOS Utility 1.­1 Updater is linked to ZoomBrowser EX,­ ImageBrowser and Digital Photo Professional,­ but the following software versions are required.­ Digital Photo Professional Ver.­ 2.­2 or later ZoomBrowser EX Ver.­ 5.­7 or later ImageBrowser Ver.­ 5.­7 or later Changes from Ver.­ 1.­0.­x to Ver.­ 1.­1 Added Functions Camera support for EOS DIGITAL 400D Linked software option In Ver.­1.­0,­ linked software was limited to ZoomBrowser EX,­ ImageBrowser or Digital Photo Professional.­ It is possible to select linked software.­ Remote operation of Auto Power-off setting Auto Power-off ON/­OFF can be set remotely.­ File save destination display function A function to display the destination of the images imported to the computer was added.­ The destination is displayed by selecting [Open save destination] in the menu.­ Modified Functions Unlimited maximum number of frames during timer shooting or interval shooting The limitation for maximum number of frames during timer shooting or interval shooting was released.­ It enables unlimited number of shootings as long as HDD space is available for the computer connected.­ Limitations (Only for Macintosh) The following issues were found with PowerPC based MacOS X 10.­4.­7.­ (Please click here to see the further compatibility information for MacOS X 10.­4.­ ) Connections cannot be made with EOS D30,­ D60,­ 10D,­ 20D/­20Da and 300D.­ Connections cannot be made with EOS 350D and 5D when the communication setting is 'PC connection'.­ (Connections can be made when the communication setting is Print/­PTP.­ However,­ it is not possible to take pictures remotely as it is necessary to set the communication setting to [PC connection].­ ) Installation To install this updater,­ it is required that one of the following software application is already installed on your system.­ EOS Utility EOS Viewer Utility File Viewer Utility CameraWindow DSLR Compatibility: Operating system(s): Windows 2000 SP4,­ Windows XP Language(s): English
